About Me

My name is Rysse like Still I Rise. I am a Psychotherapist, Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy Practitioner, Writer/Poet, Medicine Woman, Buddhist Witch.

I was born a highly sensitive person in a highly sensitive body. I struggled with burnout, depression, and freeze response for years. For years I kept asking the question, "where is my life energy?" I learned that avoiding my feelings through substances, scrolling on social media, food, and isolation and not listening to my purpose was creating this freeze response in my body.  I started learning how to tend to my sensitivity, making space for the grief and the rage, engaging in daily rituals, and connecting with my spirit team. 

All of this and more transformed my relationship to my sensitivity. People started asking me how I seemed so calm and present in the midst of stressful situations. I realized that when I am tending to my inner world and my spirit, people can feel my presence. 

I have traveled the wounded healers' journey, and now I stand ready to offer the lessons and insights I’ve gathered along the way. I’ve poured everything I know about liberation and healing into this Spiritual Warriorship program, and I am soul excited to share it with you!
